The Documents tab is the heart of every case file: it brings together the entire correspondence of a case in chronological order – uploaded files, documents generated from templates, sent emails, and internal notes. This makes it easy to see at a glance what has happened in a case.
The document list
Each row is a document or item in the case file. The default columns:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Title | The document’s name; assigned tags appear below it |
| Attachment title | Title of an associated attachment, if any |
| Received date | Date the document entered the case file |
| Direction | Incoming or Outgoing – the direction of communication |
| Status | Processing state, e.g. Processed |
The expand arrow at the start of a row opens it to show details and attachments.
Searching, filtering, and adjusting columns
- The search field above the list searches the case’s documents.
- Reset filters clears all applied filters, and Refresh table reloads the current state.
- Below the list, use Manage columns and Reset columns to adjust which columns are visible, and save the view with Save configuration for your next visit. There you also choose entries per page and page through longer lists.
