While you create individual outgoing payments within the case file (see Transfers in the Case File), the settings area Accounting → Transfers collects all transfers across cases for reviewing, authorizing, and exporting to the bank.

The path of a transfer

Every payment passes traceably through several stages (columns in the overview):

  • Released for export – the payment has been reviewed and is ready to hand off.
  • Authorized – via Transfers Authorization, an authorized person signs off on the payment. Release and authorization are deliberately separate steps (two-person / four-eyes rule).
  • Processed / Sent – the status after export.

Export to the bank

  • Export transfers (CSV) – a CSV list of the payments.
  • Export transfers (SEPA, PAIN 001.001) – a SEPA XML file (pain.001) that you submit in online banking.
  • “Mark files as ‘Sent’” – flags the exported payments as done, so they aren’t issued again.
