Many court and administrative procedures run through official PDF forms with fixed fields – for example the garnishment and transfer order (PfÜB) or enforcement applications. In the PDF form editor (Settings → Templates → PDF Form Editor), you set up such PDFs once and populate their fields with placeholders. DEPLAW then fills them in automatically per case.
Creating a PDF form
The editor works in two stages. New PDF form first opens the settings – you give it a name and upload the PDF template via Upload PDF. Only after that can you design the form:
Placing fields on the PDF
Once the PDF is loaded, the editor shows it page by page (tabs Page 1, Page 2 …). Using text boxes, you place a box directly on the PDF for each field and fill it with a value or placeholder. You configure the box on the left, and see it positioned on the form immediately on the right:
For each text box, you set:

| Hide Content | hides the content (e.g. for purely calculation-driven fields). |
| Font size | font size of the inserted text. |
| Position X / Y | the position of the box on the page. |
| Height / Width | the dimensions of the box. |
The icons next to each box let you reset, duplicate, or delete it. You edit multi-page forms (e.g. the PfÜB application) via the page tabs; each page has its own text boxes.
