What Kubernetes delivers

Kubernetes orchestrates DEPLAW's individual container modules — interface, workflow engine, AI orchestration, database — and automatically spins up further instances as load increases. That makes the platform practically unlimited in horizontal scalability: from a single law firm to enterprise- scale operations with thousands of parallel proceedings, without an architecture change.

Horizontal scaling
Pods scale automatically with load. CPU and memory are allocated dynamically — no manual intervention.
Geo-redundant backups
Incremental backups distributed across multiple locations. Point-in-time recovery for PostgreSQL. S3-compatible.
Encryption
TLS 1.3 for all connections, AES-256 for data at rest. Secrets managed via Kubernetes Secrets or Vault.
Helm chart deployment
Standardized deployment via Helm. Configurable through values.yaml — replicas, resources, ingress, all parametrized.
Namespace isolation
Multi-tenant capable via Kubernetes namespaces. Network policies control pod-to-pod communication granularly.

For most teams, the DEPLAW Cloud is enough: ready to go instantly, maintained, hosted in Germany. Anyone who needs full data control or their own cloud environment runs DEPLAW self-hosted on Telekom OTC, AWS, Azure, GCP or their own hardware.
After requirements are agreed and the Helm chart is provided, the platform is typically live within 1–3 days.
Every case runs as an independent workflow; Kubernetes automatically scales the processing pods with load, without one proceeding blocking another.
