What is DEPLAW?
DEPLAW is a legal tech platform for the automated handling of legal mass proceedings and recurring cases. It brings BPMN 2.0 workflows, AI agents, beA connectivity (the German lawyers' electronic mailbox), document generation, deadlines, billing and client-funds management together in one piece of software. DEPLAW is developed by Legal Data Technology GmbH in Wuppertal, Germany, and used by insurers, law firms, debt collection agencies and in-house legal departments.
In short: DEPLAW runs the entire case, from incoming mail to dispatch, instead of supporting individual work steps only.

Yes. One or more beA mailboxes are connected via a software certificate; DEPLAW retrieves incoming messages every 10 minutes and files them in the case. Pleadings can be sent via beA directly from the workflow. Details under beA interface.
