Case History & Input Management
The case history brings together every document in a case chronologically and searchably — including AI summaries, tag management, and automatic filing from workflows, email, beA, and fax.
The case history is the central, chronological record of a case: all incoming and outgoing documents, fully AI-integrated, with document tags, full-text search, and audit-proof logging in one place. Instead of spreading documents across different folders, mailboxes, and filing systems, this creates a single, complete picture of every matter.
AI directly in the case chronicle
Legal AI features can be used directly from within the case history, with no context switching and no copying individual passages of text. On command, the AI summarizes the entire case content — all points of contention, facts, and procedural steps condensed, even in very large case files, with automatic updates on every new document. Individual documents such as expert opinions or extensive correspondence can likewise be condensed to their key statements, without anyone having to read them in full. Incoming letters can be responded to directly from the case file: the Legal AI knows the full case context and automatically anonymizes the data before passing it to the language model.
In practice, the AI automatically updates the case summary, for example, as soon as a statement of defense comes in — open points of contention, detected deadlines, and the opposing party’s evidence offers are then immediately available in the case file in structured form, instead of having to be read out of the filing first.
Sharing documents, attachments instantly at hand
Every document can be shared with the client in the online case file with a single click — with no separate upload and no syncing between two systems. Shared content becomes visible immediately, internal documents stay hidden, and any sharing can be revoked at any time. This eliminates duplicate upload processes and gives clients exactly the level of insight the firm decides to grant.
Attachments to a filing are displayed in the case history under their attachment title and can be filtered by name — for example when a specific exhibit is requested during an oral hearing. In large-scale proceedings with hundreds of exhibits, this structured management becomes a real efficiency factor.
01
Full-text search across the entire case
A single search query scans all documents, notes, and metadata of a case in seconds — even in very extensive files, every document stays instantly findable.
One query · All documents
02
Tags as targeted AI context
Tags can be assigned manually or automatically via workflow and form filterable document groups. For example, every document tagged "contract documents" can be bundled for AI review, without manually compiling it first.
