Legal Data Tech

Hundreds of claims. One automated line.

One client, hundreds of individual claims – leasing companies with their own damage claims, banks, utility providers, housing companies. Claims data comes straight from the client's system; DEPLAW handles case creation, escalation and reporting.

The starting point

Claims originate in the client's system, not in the case file.

Integration

Claims data lives in the client's ERP or dunning system – not in the law firm's case file.

Volume

Hundreds to thousands of similar claims per client can't be set up individually by hand.

Escalation discipline

Reminder, payment order and complaint have to run through on time and without gaps for every single claim.

The process in three stages

From the API connection to the client portal – one continuous process.

A large-volume mandate with hundreds of individual claims can't be steered case by case by hand. DEPLAW therefore models the entire journey – from the first claim notification to the incoming payment – as one continuous process that breaks down into three stages: integration, escalation, reporting.

Client integration via API interface

Every large-volume mandate starts with claims data originating in the client's own systems – in the ERP, in a dunning system, or in a proprietary database. A bidirectional REST API transfers this data directly to DEPLAW, with no one at the firm having to enter it manually. For every claim, the system automatically creates the matching case file, links it to real-time reporting and beA dispatch – the case is ready to go before a lawyer ever sees it for the first time.

Serial enforcement & automatic escalation

Once the case file is set up, DEPLAW takes over enforcement across four escalation stages – from the reminder through the payment order to the complaint. Each claim goes through these stages individually and independently: if the debtor responds, the system pauses at exactly that point; if there's no response, the case automatically escalates to the next stage – including native beA dispatch of the filings. A lawyer doesn't need to intervene in standard cases.

Client portal & structured reporting

While escalation is running, the client sees the status of every individual claim in real time in their own portal – results broken down by case type and a running cost overview, with no reports the firm has to compile by hand. DEPLAW mirrors the results back into the client's system at the same time, so the firm and the client work on the same platform with the same data.

For industrial clients & the firms that serve them

The line between law-firm enforcement and client self-service is blurring.

Leasing companies with their own damage claims, banks and utility providers now expect more than just a faster law firm. Through the same API that hands claims data to DEPLAW, standardized procedures – the dunning process above all – can also be triggered fully automatically directly by the client. The firm remains the legal authority for everything involving escalation, exceptions and filing complaints; standard cases can start either through the firm or directly at the client.

Classic

The client reports claims to the firm, which sets up every case individually and steers the process from there.

With DEPLAW

The client triggers the dunning process for standard cases directly via the API; the firm monitors, steps in on escalation, and remains responsible for anything beyond the standard case.

The same infrastructure carries both models – no system switch between firm and client.
