Wuppertal – Legal Data Technology GmbH is today presenting DEPLAW to the public for the first time: a legal tech platform that automates the entire legal case handling process – from document receipt to the close of proceedings.

The platform has already been in production use for several years at large insurers, law firms and companies – so far exclusively through direct customer relationships.

DEPLAW covers the entire lifecycle of legal case handling: from the receipt of a case through AI-assisted analysis and classification and automated communication to the final closure of the case file – without switching systems, without manual handovers.

At the heart of the platform is the BPMN-based workflow editor. Legal processes are modelled graphically, with no programming skills required, and then run fully automatically. AI agents can be integrated as defined process steps: they receive clear inputs, complete a task and pass on their result within a professionally safeguarded process.
