Under Settings → Communication → eBO Dispatch Settings, you set up dispatch via the electronic mailbox for citizens and organizations (eBO) – the channel for electronic legal correspondence with parties who don’t hold a beA mailbox (authorities, companies, expert witnesses, and others).
Prerequisite: a procilon GROUP eBO mailbox
DEPLAW doesn’t talk to eBO directly; instead it goes through the eBO mailbox from procilon GROUP (procilon: eBO mailbox). This product bridges eBO and email:
- Receiving: procilon delivers all incoming eBO messages to an email account.
- Sending: outgoing messages are sent from that same account.
For receiving, this works best with Microsoft Exchange Online, though that’s not mandatory – in principle, the eBO mailbox can be connected to any email account.
Setting up an eBO dispatch route
Hinzufügen (“Add”) links eBO dispatch to the Microsoft 365 account used for sending. The overview shows the key details:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Microsoft Benutzer (Systemname) | the Microsoft 365 account used to handle eBO dispatch. |
| Standard | marks the eBO dispatch route used when no more specific rule applies. |
| Mit Aktenhashtag | an optional hashtag: case files with this hashtag are sent using exactly this configuration – taking priority over the default. |
