Under Settings → User Account → Text Placeholders you create your own, reusable placeholders. Unlike the case placeholders fed from the case file, here you define fixed values — such as your extension, a profile photo, or a standard text — that you can insert anywhere as {{NAME}}.
Creating a placeholder
With + Add placeholder you assign a name (the later {{…}} identifier) and a value. Each entry can later be edited via the pencil icon or deleted via the trash icon; the search helps when you have many entries.
| Component | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | the identifier you use to call the placeholder — e.g. DURCHWAHL → in text {{DURCHWAHL}}. |
| Value (text) | a fixed text that appears when inserted. |
| Value (image) | instead of text, you can also store an image (e.g. a profile photo or a scanned signature), which is then inserted as graphics. |
Grouping with the underscore
Names with a shared prefix and underscore are displayed grouped in the overview — e.g. PROFIL_NAME, PROFIL_BESCHREIBUNG, PROFIL_BILD under the group PROFIL. This keeps related placeholders neatly together.
Personal contact in the client’s case file
If you’re stored as the handler in a case’s master data, your profile photo and phone number from your text placeholders are also displayed in the client’s case file. This gives the client a face and a direct line to the responsible person — noticeably increasing personal contact and trust.
