The case file is the central workspace for a single case. Everything belonging to a matter – master data, correspondence, participants, deadlines, running workflows, and case finances – is bundled here in one place. You open exactly one case file per case and navigate it via the tabs on the left edge.

Opening a case file

You open a case file from the case overview:

  1. In the dashboard, select the Cases tab.
  2. In the case list, click the case number of the case you want.
  3. The case file opens; at the top you see the case caption, case number, and mandate date, and on the left the case file’s tabs.

Back to dashboard (at the top) takes you back out of the case file.
