Under Settings → Communication → Templates, you set up the dispatch templates – the defaults used to automatically prepare outgoing emails. The page is split into three sections: Standardtext (default text), Anhang-Aufteilung (attachment splitting), and Mail2Fax.
Default text for new emails
The default text (Standardtext) is the text that pre-fills the body of every new email. This way, the same recurring salutation and closing don’t need to be retyped every time – the person handling the email only needs to adjust the middle part. The editor is a rich-text field (bold, italic, bullet lists, links), so you can fully format the text.
Automatically splitting large attachments
Email servers limit the size of individual messages. To make sure large PDF attachments (e.g. an extensive case file) still arrive reliably, DEPLAW automatically splits dispatch across several follow-up emails:

Recipients then receive several messages, each with an appropriately sized attachment, instead of one oversized email that gets rejected.
Mail2Fax
Via Mail2Fax, DEPLAW sends faxes by handing the message off to an external fax service provider (e.g. Placetel) via email. The provider converts it into a fax and delivers it.
