DEPLAW is a web-based application — you work entirely in the browser, with no local installation. Getting started begins with registration and the subsequent activation of your account.

1. Register

Go to app.dep.law and choose “Register now”. The registration form opens:

Field Note
Register as a company Turn on this switch when registering your firm/organization (rather than just an individual).
Title / First name / Last name Your personal details — changeable later in Account Details.
Email also your login name.
Phone required during registration.
Password / confirm Your access password (can be revealed with the eye icon). See the password recommendations.
Terms & privacy policy Both confirmations are required to complete registration.

2. Activation as an admin account

After registration, your account is activated by DEPLAW as an admin account. This first account is the administrator of your organization — you use it to manage all further access afterward.

3. Adding further users

Additional colleagues join your organization via the same path — with the difference that you, as admin, activate them, without DEPLAW needing to intervene again:

  1. Have them register

The new person registers at app.dep.law via "Register now" using their work email address.

  2. Activate them in your organization

From your admin account, you directly activate the new access or assign it to your organization — the person can then log in immediately. You'll find user and permission management in the Administration section.

  3. Fill in basic data

The new person completes their Account Details and sets up two-factor authentication.

Signing in & forgotten password

To sign in, enter your email and password; if two-factor authentication is active, you’re then asked for a one-time code. If you can’t sign in, use “Forgot password” — you’ll receive a link by email to set a new one.
