The booking account is the case’s account: it records every payment movement in the case file and links it to claims and invoices.
Balances & bookings
- The Accounts total and Accounts filtered rows show the totals for debit, credit, and the balance – once overall, once for the current filter.
- + New booking records a payment manually.
- The Bookings table lists every movement with debit/credit, references (bank statement, claim account, invoice), date, description, note, and amount.
Creating a booking
Click + New booking. The Booking dialog opens with a debit side and a credit side:
- Accounting organization – which organization the booking is made from (default: Default).
- Accounts – for debit and credit, you choose an account type for each: general ledger account (booking account number) or debtor account (a participant role as a personal account). You then choose the specific account. Each side needs exactly one entry – general ledger account or personal account.
- References – optionally, each side can be linked to a bank statement, a claim, or an invoice; free-text reference text is also possible.
- Date, amount, and description (booking text) are required; a note is optional.
Clicking Save creates the booking; it appears in the Bookings table, and the totals under Accounts total/filtered update.
