Under Settings → AI/LLM you connect DEPLAW to language models (LLMs) and define how they’re used. Three building blocks work together:

How it all fits together

An AI connector is the connection to a language model. As soon as at least one connector is set up, the AI features become available:

  1. Connector "default" → LegalAi

A connector named default powers LegalAi — the AI assistant in the case context that answers questions about the case and helps with your work.

  2. Connector "semantic-compare" → verification

A connector named semantic-compare enables semantic verification within extraction templates — that is, comparing extracted values by meaning.

  3. Extraction templates → structured data

An extraction template uses a connector to read defined fields out of a document — the foundation for workflows and automation.
